Las Vegas Pumpkin Patch

we went to vegas for my niece lucys baby blessing....it was a quick trip but we got to fit in a little pumpkin patch fun vegas style!

they loved spinning themselves, but once it got started they were a little concerned :)

tyler eventually liked it....i think kate did too

then off to the swings....poor little hailey was too little for the rides....she was not happy about it AT ALL!!

after the tea pot, i think kate was just a little apprehensive about the next ride

these swings went super fast....luckily he liked it!

Fall Fun

yes it finally started to get cold

so we broke out the jackets, hats and mittens

i dont think tyler can take a bad picture!!

and yeah i guess neither can she :)

she was lovin' her mittens

oh dear one fell off!

but yay! she figured out how to put it back on :)

she likes to tease me, cause she knows i'll continue to chase her with my camera

Family

My Aunt Linda came to visit us all the way from New York for a week!!

Since she was coming up, my mom, kevin, dad and brittneys family came up too!

we had a great time!! thanks for visiting guys!

we went to kangaroo zoo, ate at paradise (love that place) watched conference and found out there is going to be a temple built in ft lauderdale-awesome!!! played board games, watched movies and spend good ol' quality time together :)

Farm Country

mikel, jody, britney, my mom and i went to farm country a few weeks back

tyler loved the horse rides

hailey was of course a bit attached to grammy at the beginning :)

but then she loosened up

and started noticing the animals

love her little braids...thanks mom, she would never sit that still for me!

Fun Fun Fun

the joys and frustrations of a 3 yr old....

JOY=getting blocks piled up to be taller than him

haha, it took a few times, but with a solid base, he was able to stack 'em up and get super excited about it! :)

like i said fun, fun, fun!!

yes it is true....the girl that had her pacifier with her 24/7 has been rid of it for almost 5 weeks.

the reason you ask....well i saw an almost 4 year old with his pacifier, i looked at hailey with her pacifier and thought, yup that will be her :)

and i felt that she wasnt talking a lot cause she always had it and she was WAY WAY WAY too attached to that thing...so we said goodbye....i didnt give it to her the whole day and then at night when she asked for it in her sweet little voice, pacy mama? i said where is it...and she said, i dont know....and i said that too and that was that.....she did ask for it every night for a couple weeks, but we would just ask her where it was and she would say i dont know....and then i made sure she didnt see the babys pacifier and then it was probably about a week in and she saw it and gave it to the baby....i was so impressed...she has had a couple of relapses though....we found her hiding in the corner with the pacy in her mouth and then another time she took it from the baby and put it in her mouth and we immediately yelled...yucky yucky :)

and then david said one night he went in to check on her and she was saying pacy, pacy and it looked like she was trying to find it in her sleep....poor girl, but no worries now....shes all good....she gives the baby the pacifier and goes and gets it for me and gives it right to the baby...shes a champ....

good job hailey....you're on your way to becoming a big girl!!!

next is the baby she takes everywhere and then of course expects nobody to touch it

and then on to the beloved blanket
