SKIING!

We have a few ski passes left, so we decided we were going to go skiing every Sat in April instead of selling them. We're doing good so far, 2 down and 2 more to go! We had a GREAT time on Sat with everyone! We went skiing with Davids mom, his uncle Roger , Aunt Sue Ellen and Uncle Steve. It was such a beautiful day! The sun stayed out the whole day , the snow was slushy and it was just a FUN day all around! I totally know why people love Spring Skiing! Thank you to the Call kids for watching Tyler and Thank you Grandmother for taking care of Hailey! She loved being with you Grandmother, thank you thank you thank you!

So we got up to Snowbird at around 11:30. I am always so scared at first, so it took us a little bit to get down on my first run and then we met up with the others and took some pictures before we went down again

We went down the tram a few times, around the back on an ungroomed run, and we got to go through the tunnel too!

I'm getting it and its becoming more and more comfortable. David was able to leave me a couple times, usually I want him next to me the whole time. You're the best teacher David, I appreciate all the time and effort you put in to helping me learn! I love you!
So we were there pretty much all afternoon and I am so glad we were able to go!

So after skiing we picked up the kids and headed home. We grabbed something to eat, got home and all went to bed for the night after the fun filled day each of us had!

P.S. like I was saying about the sun on Saturday when we were skiing, well, I didnt put any sunblock on and it didnt show up that day but today when I woke up for church, my face was fried!!!! and i guess it would have been ok if it was my whole face, but no, it was the nice goggle sunburn, not pretty at all and pretty painful! So if you saw me at church and you were wondering what was wrong with my face, that was it :)

Valentine's

We had our ward valentine's dance on Friday. Grandma was able to babysit so David and I could go and have some fun! They had a professional dj, pictures, it was a great time. The dj was really funny, she played like 5 line dances during the night and right before each one she would give us like a little training session, it was cool, it made everyone get up and dance. It was nice to spend time alone with David doing something we both love. We were trying to remember all our dance moves, I'd say we did pretty good :) there was this one couple in our ward, they are amazing dancers, she had just had her baby about a month ago, so they didnt stay for long, but it was fun to watch them. We danced and danced to vanilla ice, electric slide, cha cha song, good oldies slow songs and then we were trying to think of a good song for the last dance and we picked the perfect one, dave was like "hey whats that song at the end of hitch" the dj knew right away , so she played it we all got into our lines and each couple went down doing something funny ! We had a blast! David did a couple front flips too. It was a great night and we were happy we were able to go!Before we left we tried to put Hailey to bed so that cyndy could just play with Tyler, but I guess she woke up right when we left, but it was okay, she was just smiling and having a good ol time in grandmas arms. Tyler on the other had, he is on a great schedule, so we told cyndy that right at 8 all she needs to do is brush his teeth and then put him to bed, easy enough right? Well it all went as planned but then she said that about 15 mins after he went to bed he started screaming! So she went upstairs thinking he fell off the bed or something, but no, and since she went in there now he just wanted out. Tyler hasnt done something like this in FOREVER! So we get home at about 9:30 and what do we walk into......Tyler bouncing off the walls and cyndy standing up reading her book because Hailey didnt want to be put down. Fun stuff, we thought we would come home to a nice peaceful quiet house, but no, of course :) It was funny, so cyndy left and then we gave tyler some food we were eating and then David went to put him to bed, he looks at David, lays his head down and that was the last we heard from him all night. I guess he knows who's in charge! lol We thought it was a funny story



So I didnt say anything about what David got me for valentines day.
It wasnt flowers......
nope not any chocolate candy..........
not even any jewlery........
what could you possibly get for your wife on valentines day other then those 3 choices????




well being the reasonable (computer) man that he is, he thinks.........flowers die, chocolate candy-shes trying to lose her baby fat, and she really doesnt wear jewlery....so he got me

a laptop! :)
but not any laptop, a pink laptop.....

and not any pink laptop, a tiny pink laptop that you can fit in your purse or diaper bag in my case, yup, thats what i got for valentines day
its called the eee pc

and i love it. First of all I've never had a laptop and secondly its perfect for when i want to blog surf and i happen to be downstairs (because the computer is upstairs) and its even more perfect because its very durable so I dont have to worry about tyler opening it too many times and breaking it(but dont worry dave, he doesnt do that :), since Tyler is obsessed with computers and everytime he sees one he wants to use it

But anyways, it was a great valentines day, i love my present, thank you thank you thank you very much, i would have never thought of that, your the best, you know me well! I love you!!
