Friday and Saturday

The other half of us left that morning, but we still had til Saturday afternoon to be in Cali, so after getting a hotel and dropped Kev off, we headed out on the open road to try to waste a full tank of prepaid gas on the rental.....

Dave was happy to drive, he does not like it when we are somewhere and he cant drive and has to sit in the back :)

So we started here....

got lost a little and took this both north and

south

We also circled this a couple times too

and here, where we got a show by some wild sea lions

and ended up here

On our way we stopped here
I think this is one of my favorite temples. I had only seen it in pictures, but seeing it in real life, even though it was raining, still looked as beautiful as I had dreamed it to be
p.s. so when we were getting directions from the hotel lady we asked if she knew where the lds temple was and shes like huh whats that, theres no lds temple here. David started describing it and shes like oh yeah the mormon temple....duh dave, its the mormon temple, not the lds temple, ha ha it was funny

this was the beach at la jolla. It was so cool. the rocks everywhere, i loved it. We were trying to find a beach with sea shells but no luck, someone told us no beaches in cali have sea shells, is that true?

It was so windy and when we were on the rocks, the water would come crashing into them and splash us.....thats what Tyler is looking at

I was on the bottom in between the rocks at the beginning and i totally almost got washed away...again thats what Tyler is looking at, the crazy waves

Back at the hotel, we were just messing around....Hailey was practicing her sitting and Tyler his sharing :)

Awwww.......to be brother and sister

Hailey wanted the remote.....

but sadly she was DENIED

but dont worry they quickly became friends again

and we got to capture more smiles and laughter from the both of them....apart :)

The next day was leaving day. We had a great flight there and back. Our new FAVORITE AIRLINE is JETBLUE. Love love love them. This was our first time flying with them and now we dont want to go with anyone else. The seats are bigger, TV for every seat, Great rates and no crowded flights (i guess thats good for us bad for them) but yes we loved it!
Mom and Kev on the other hand didnt make out as well as we did. They rode us airways, their flight was cancelled and then they didnt even want to get them out of there til the next day. Luckily they found something for them and after flying to Salt Lake they made it St George that night.
Anyways, we all had a great time! And I guess our next reunion is in VA! Bring it on! We're excited!!!!!
